We ordered 5 dishes (and two drinks each) and not one of them disappointed us! The scallop crudo and German potato salad were especially delicious. Our server gave us some good recommendations about splitting dishes so we ended up sharing everything which was a great way to taste the menu. I would love to come back here but would likely just do drinks and apps because deboning a whole fish was a bit of a shock to me!

Such a wonderful experience. All of the food was very well thought out and delicious. The chicken was the best I’ve ever had. I know that sounds dramatic but it was that good. You can really tell the effort that was put into the food from presentation to taste. Riley and all the employees were phenomenal. They were very attentive, knowledgeable, and nice. I really appreciated that Riley made suggestions to what we ordered to really elevate our meal. 110% already making plans for our next visit.

Well worth the reservation. Our server, Riley, was absolutely fantastic and made us feel right at home. Perfect menu run-down and a perfect wine pairing with the Branzino. All of the food from start to finish was absolutely incredile. The restaurant got busy during the middle of our meal, and when he couldn't make it to our table, another server didn't waste any time catering to our every need. Every positive review is accurate. Every award is worthwhile. But the most important review to me, is that my wife and I couldn't stop talking about who else would love this place during our experience. We will be back, and we'll be back with friends.

This is our second time here, and it was just as good as the first. Cozy and moody atmosphere with a hard-working and attentive staff. Cocktails and wine list are top notch. They offer unique drinks made with aquavit which is very on-brand for this Nordic restaurant. Their menu changes with the seasons, and highlights many regional foods and sustainable meats and seafood. We started with the caviar, served in a coupe with creme fraiche, shallots, and dill alongside homemade chips. So surprisingly good! Next up, pickled mackerel with smoked beet and cabbage and the marinated mushrooms with horseradish. I kept taking bites of each, and they really seemed to complement each other. The salty/smokey mackerel with the horseradish of the mushrooms was a surprising flavor combination that just worked so well. For our entrees, my husband had the chicken with lingonberries and farmer’s cheese while I ordered the steelhead trout filet. We also opted for the half portion of the rye focaccia which was a suggestion made by the waitress. It really helped to scoop up the extra sauce on our plates, because we didn’t want to let any of that go to waste! Overall this place is definitely worth checking out so make that reservation now. The flavors, attention to detail, and quality cannot be beat.

I went out to dinner on Monday evening and I am still thinking about it. I was truly speechless with everything. The simple yet classic decor, the overall calming ambience. THE STAFF: absolutely top notch. It is beautiful to see a restaurant run so smoothly, seemingly effortless, however that is absolutely not the case. Ash inspires me to be better at my job. She is so genuine and caring, and you can really tell the pride she takes! I truly could say this about any person employed there. I chatted about morels with a gentleman (whose name I didn’t get, I’m sorry) and I spoke with Sarah for a bit as well. Why am I going on and on about the staff? Because it is that important. You made every guest feel so special. Now, let’s talk about the food. We started with the scallops crudo, those poppy seeds are 10000% needed to elevate the dish to perfection. The trout (perfectly cooked and the sear was too die for), we had an oyster each, French fries, the morels, etc. Everything was perfection. Oh my gosh, don’t get me started on the cabbage Caesar salad. I don’t even like cabbage typically, but the charred edges added a complexity that compliments the anchovies. The panna cotta was apparently amazing as well, but I ate more this evening than I typically do all week, so I was STUFFED. If you want to see the show The Bear in action, this is the place. I cannot rave more about this establishment. Truly a culinary experience. Thanks for making me a better bartender/host.

Could I give the service 6 stars?! A wonderful dining experience - we sat in the main room toward the back and it wasn’t too noisy. Highlights: the pickled mackerel with smoked beet and cabbage - a flavor adventure!! The rye focaccia with olive oil and tomato balsamic - absolutely incredible! I also loved my cocktail - the aromatic. Everything we ate was terrific with an unsurpassed depth of flavor. And, yes, you should get the chicken!

Definitely a love it or hate it spot. Very interesting flavor profile combinations, and aesthetic presentation. Strong attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant design, from cutlery to plating to ambience. Generally laidback, casual, and unpretentious. Food wise, I enjoyed the Cavatelli, the Lingonberry Chocolate Cake, the Trout, and the Cabbage, in that order. The cavatelli, chocolate cake and trout are likely to be the most universally palatable in my opinion. The cabbage may be divisive- if you enjoy goaty, smoky, fermented flavors you’ll love this (which I did). My dining partner was not a fan. Steak tartare was okay, but fair for the price point. I will be back!

As a New Yorker, I found that this place competes with city food, atmosphere, and service! There were so many unique eclectic dishes. The staff was very helpful and cleaned our table after each dish, which ive never seen before. I highly recommend for its originality and service.
